  • 1 Cloves

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Then add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are browned and cooked through. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
  • STEP 4.Add the soaked basmati rice and mix well. Add water, salt, and bring it to a boil. Then cover and cook on low heat until the rice is cooked and the flavors are well blended.
