Clams with Bulho pato and sauces recipe. Like many classics in our cuisine, this dish starts with garlic oil. Then comes the sea flavor, mixed with the fresh aroma of coriander. Typically at your Portuguese table. Drizzled with white wine, cover and simmer over moderate heat for about a minute or until the clams open, shaking the pot from time to time so that they all receive equal heat. This is a traditional dish from the city of Lisbon.

  • 1 kilogram Clams
  • 4 No.s Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 No.s Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • As required Chopped coriander
  • As required Salt and pepper

Directions: Amêijoas À Bulhão Pato Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Soak the clams in a bowl of water and salt and let it rest until cleaned. Set aside.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Chop the garlic and in a pan heat some oil and butter then add garlic and saute. Finally, add drained clams and cook.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Add chopped coriander and lemon juice and remove heat and  serve immediately.
