Ambe Dal/Kairichi Dal Recipe

Recipe By Slurrp

Ambe Dal, also known as Kairichi Dal, is a traditional Maharashtrian lentil dish made with split pigeon peas (toor dal) and raw mango. The lentils are cooked until soft and then tempered with spices like mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. The addition of raw mango gives the dal a tangy and refreshing flavor. Ambe Dal is typically served with steamed rice or Indian breads like roti or chapati.
