Ingredients for Aloo Tikki Recipe

  • 1/2 pieces Medium boiled potatoes
  • 0.06 cup thin variety of poha (flattened rice)
  • 0.13 tsp Green chillies ginger paste
  • 0.06 tsp Tumeric powder
  • 0.13 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.13 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.03 tsp Aamchur powder
  • 1/4 g pinch asafoetida (hing)
  • 1/2 tbsp Finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • to taste Salt to taste
  • as required Oil for shallow fry
  • as required Khajur sweet red chutney
  • as required Mint corainder chutney

Directions: Aloo Tikki Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash poha and keep aside. Peel and mash boiled potatoes in mixing bowl.
  • STEP 2.Add poha, green chillies ginger paste,salt, tumeric powder,red chili powder,chat masala, aamchur powder, chopped fresh coriander leaves to mashed potatoes. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Make 8 equal size round tikkis from prepared spicy aloo mixture.
  • STEP 4.Shallow fry aloo tikkis with oil on griddle on both sides till crispy golden.
  • STEP 5.Serve/Relish Delicious Aloo Tikkis with khajur sweet red chutney and mint corainder spicy chutney.
