Ingredients for aloo suji rolls Recipe

  • 1/4 cup rava
  • 1/4 cup Curd
  • 1/4 cup 1 cup
  • 1/2 tsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • As Required Few curry leaves
  • As Required Few coriander leaves
  • As Required Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin powder

Directions: Aloo Suji Rolls Recipe

  • STEP 1.firstly in a mixi blend and powder
  • STEP 2.transfer the powdered rava to a large bowl also, add cup curd and combine well. now add water as required and start to knead.
  • STEP 3.knead to a smooth and soft dough.
  • STEP 4.meanwhile, to prepare the stuffing, in a large bowl take potato. additionally, add cumin powder, chaat masala and mix well. mix well making sure all the spices are well combined. stuffing is ready. roll tight making sure it is well secured. now cut into half and place in the steamer. if you have enough room in the steamer, then you can place the whole log. now cut into half and place in the steamer. steam for 15 minutes, or until the rava layer is cooked fully.
  • STEP 5.now slice into thick pieces and keep aside. prepare the tempering, by heating 2 tbsp oil.
  • STEP 6.splutter, mustard, cumin seeds sesame and few curry leaves. place the sliced roll and roast on medium flame.
  • STEP 7.flip over and roast both sides.
  • STEP 8.finally, enjoy suji roll with green chutney ..
