Ingredients for Aloo Simla Mirch Ki Sabji Recipe

  • 4 Potatoes medium sized
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Onion diced Nos
  • 1 inch Ginger finely chopped
  • 1 Capsicum diced Nos
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • As required Salt

Directions: Aloo Simla Mirch Ki Sabji Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Into a pressure cooker add 4 medium sized potatoes cut into halves and ¼ cup water. Pressure cook for 3 whistles and turn off the heat.

  • STEP 1.Allow the potatoes to cool and then peel them and cut into chunks.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Into a preheated pan add 1 tbsp oil, 1 onion diced, 1 inch ginger finely chopped and 1 capsicum diced.

  • STEP 1.Saute on medium heat till the onion and capsicum are soft. Add the cooked potato.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Then add ½ tsp turmeric ( haldi) powder, 1 tsp coriander ( dhaniya) powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and saute and mix well to combine the potatoes with all the masala and other vegetables.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Sprinkle water, cover and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Open the lid and saute to combine.

step 7

  • STEP 1.Serve hot with dal and chawal.
