Ingredients for Aloo Potol Rasa Recipe

  • 1 cup Diced potatoes
  • 2 cup Pointed gourd
  • As required Bay leaves
  • As required Cardamom
  • As required Cinamon
  • As required Cooking Oil
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • As required Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 0.33 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder

Directions: Aloo Potol Rasa Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Cut the pointed gourd from the middle

step 2

  • STEP 2.Fry the tomatoes and make a paste

step 3

  • STEP 3.Fry the pointed gourd and potatoes with cooking oil and set aside

step 4

  • STEP 4.Heat the pan,add cooking oil and ghee

step 5

  • STEP 5.Add cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaves, temp them

step 6

  • STEP 6.Add the chopped onions and fry till brown

step 7

  • STEP 7.Add the ginger garlic paste and mix well

step 8

  • STEP 8.Add turmeric powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,red chili powder and kashmiri red chili powder, mix well

step 9

  • STEP 9.Add the tomato paste and add 1 glass of water

step 10

  • STEP 10.Add the fried potatoes and pointed gourd

step 11

  • STEP 11.Cover and cook for 5mins

step 12

  • STEP 12.Serve with rice
