A recipe of famous aloo paratha made of flour and potato filling.a classical north indian stuffed bread recipe made with wheat flour and spiced potato mash for stuffing. it is one of the popular paratha recipes which is not only easy to make but also one of the tasty stuffed bread from the indian cuisine. it is generally served for lunch and dinner with a choice of raita and pickle but can also be served for morning breakfast and brunch.

Ingredients for Aloo Paratha Recipe

  • As required FOR THE DOUGH
  • 150 gram Atta
  • 8 gram Salt
  • 7 gram Sugar
  • 8 gram Oil
  • 100 gram Hot water
  • As required FOR THE FILLING
  • 250 gram boiled and peeled Potatoes
  • 80 gram Onions finely chopped
  • 15 gram Ginger Minced
  • 10 gram Garlic Minced
  • 5 gram Green chillies chopped
  • 5 gram coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon Bhaja masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon Jowan
  • 100 gram Oil for cooking/frying

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a bowl , add atta,salt,sugar and oil

  • STEP 2.Distribute the oil everywhere

step 3

  • STEP 3.Knead the dough with water

step 4

  • STEP 4.Make the dough soft

step 5

  • STEP 5.Cover and rst for 30mins

step 6

  • STEP 6.For the filling, in a plate mash the boiled potatoes

  • STEP 7.Fry the onions,ginger,green chilies, garlic and coriander leaves

  • STEP 8.Add it in the potatoes , add salt,chaat masala,bhaja masala and carom seeds

  • STEP 9.Mix well and mash , divide into small portion for filling

  • STEP 10.Take some dough and fill with the filling

  • STEP 11.Make paratha using flour and roller

  • STEP 12.Heat a pan

  • STEP 1.Add oil and fry the paratha Until golden

  • STEP 13.Until golden

step 15

  • STEP 14.Garnish with butter

step 16

  • STEP 15.Serve with achar or yoghurt
