Ingredients for Aloo Parantha Recipe

  • 0.67 cup Wheat flour
  • to taste Salt
  • As Required water
  • 0.67 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Pieces bowl. Chopped potatoes
  • 0.33 tsp Ginger paste - take
  • 0.67 A Few Chillies finely chopped
  • A Pinch Coriander seeds
  • as required ajwain
  • 0.33 tsp Chilli powder
  • 0.33 tbsp Cumin powder (Bhuna Jeera)
  • As Required garam masala powder

Directions: Aloo Parantha Recipe

  • STEP 1.First of all, in a large bowl,take 2 cup wheat flour and ½ tsp salt. mix well.
  • STEP 2.add water as required and start to knead.
  • STEP 3.now add 2 tbsp oil and knead well to a smooth and soft dough.
  • STEP 4.Rest it for 20 minutes.
  • STEP 5.For aloo stuffing for paratha,first of all, in a large bowl,take 3 potatoes,ginger paste, finely chopped chillies,coriander seeds.
  • STEP 6.Also, add ajwain, chilli powder,cumin powder, garam masala, aamchur and salt.
  • STEP 7.mix well making sure all the ingredients are well combined.
  • STEP 8.aloo stuffing is ready.
  • STEP 9.To make aloo parantha, pinch a ball sized dough and roll about 4 inches in diameter.
  • STEP 10.place a ball sized prepared aloo stuffing in the centre.
  • STEP 11.take the edge and start pleating bringing it to the centre.
  • STEP 12.Also join the pleats together and secure tight pinching off excess dough.
  • STEP 13.sprinkle some wheat flour and roll slightly thick.
  • STEP 14.On a hot tawa, place the rolled paratha and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 15.furthermore, flip the paratha when the base is partly cooked (after a minute).
  • STEP 16.Brush oil and press slightly. flip again once or twice till both the sides are cooked properly.
  • STEP 17.finally, serve hot aloo paratha with sauce, raita or pickle.
