Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together wheat flour, salt, and water to make a soft dough.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • STEP 3.Add mashed potatoes, green peas, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small circle. Place a spoonful of the potato-pea mixture in the center and seal the edges to form a stuffed paratha.
  • STEP 5.Heat a griddle and cook the paratha on both sides until golden brown, applying oil or ghee as needed.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
