Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil the potatoes until they are tender, then peel and cut them into cubes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • STEP 3.Once the cumin seeds start to splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 6.Add the turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.
  • STEP 7.Mix well and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 8.Add the boiled potato cubes and salt.
  • STEP 9.Stir gently to coat the potatoes with the spices.
  • STEP 10.Cook for 5-7 minutes until the potatoes are well coated and slightly crispy.
  • STEP 11.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
