Ingredients for Aloo ki pkode Recipe

  • 3/4 cup Besan
  • As Required salt as per taste
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • 1 tsp Carrom seeds
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 As Required Medium potatoes
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 60 g Oil for frying

Directions: Aloo Ki Pkode Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and peel potatoes. Cut them into thin slices Combine all the pakora batter ingredients and mix until smooth.v
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a deep saucepan. Coat each potato slice into the batter and dip in the medium- hot oil.
  • STEP 3.Let the pakoras fry in the oil until they turn light golden in colour flipping the pakoras in between.
  • STEP 4.Remove from the oil using a slotted spoon, and place on a paper towel to absorb any remaining oil
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with green chutney, tomato sauce and kadak masala chai. (see recipe)
