  • 1/2 Medium Sized Potato, Peeled And Chopped
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • as per your need A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash the flattened rice (chuda) in water and soak it for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and keep the soaked flattened rice aside.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 4.Once the seeds start to splutter, add chopped onions and saut茅 until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped potatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook until the potatoes are tender.
  • STEP 6.Add the soaked flattened rice and mix everything together. Cook for a few minutes until the flavors blend well.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with yogurt, pickles, or chutney.

  • Make sure to wash the flattened rice properly to remove any impurities.
  • You can add green chilies for extra spice.
