  • STEP 1.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add mashed potatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Take a tortilla or roti and spread a spoonful of the potato mixture on it. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and roll it tightly.
  • STEP 4.Heat a griddle or tawa and place the rolled frankie on it. Toast it on both sides until crispy and golden brown.
