Directions: Akki Roti With Mysore Chutney Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, finely chopped onions, grated carrots, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, grated coconut, cumin seeds, salt, and water. Mix well to form a soft dough.
  • STEP 2.Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into round rotis by patting them with your hands.
  • STEP 3.Heat a tawa or griddle and place the roti on it. Cook on medium heat until the bottom side is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side as well.
  • STEP 4.Serve hot with Mysore Chutney.

Cooking Tips

  • You can add other vegetables like grated zucchini or chopped spinach to the dough for added nutrition.
  • Make sure the tawa or griddle is hot before placing the roti on it to ensure even cooking.
