Eat with guilt no no always enjoy your meal so malai kofta was in my plan I thought just give a try to air fry kofta and trust me it came out delicious. This Malai Kofta is a delicious dish of airfried balls of potato and paneer in a rich and creamy mild gravy made with sweet onions and tomatoes. This melt-in-your-mouth recipe is a labor of love, but one that is well worth it

Ingredients for Air fryer malai kofta Recipe

  • 1/2 Pieces large boiled potatoes
  • 3/4 Tbsp corn flour (arrowroot)
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chilli Powder: Optional
  • 1/4 Tsp salt as per taste
  • 62.50 Grams Pneer
  • 1/4 Cup onion chopped
  • 1/4 Tbsp ginger garlic
  • 3/4 Pieces chillies
  • 1/2 Cups chopped tomates
  • 2.50 Pieces Blanched Cashews
  • 1 Tbsp oil for curry Adjust if reqd
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1/2 Tsp red chilli powder (can adjust acoording tk to your taste)
  • 1/4 Tsp kasuri methi powder (dry Fenugreek powder)
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt as per taste
  • 1.50 Tbsp Fresh cream

Directions: Air Fryer Malai Kofta Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mash boiled potatoes,Add the spices,salt and cornflour.Mix well.
  • STEP 2.Roll it into equal sized small balls and add small stuffing of dry fruits in the middle.
  • STEP 3.Arrange the balls in an air fryer tray
  • STEP 4.In a pre-heated air fryer (5 mins) Brush/spray with oil, cook at 190 degree C for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Brush/spray with oil again, cook at 190 degree C for further 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Allow the kofta to cool a bit and toss them into the curry for few minutes before serving.
  • STEP 7.Heat oil in a pan. Add onions & ginger to it.
  • STEP 8.Cover and cook for 2 minutes until soft.
  • STEP 9.Add chopped tomatoes, cashews and salt. Cook till tomatoes soften, mixing with a spatula.
  • STEP 10.Blend the gravy with 1 cup water. Pass it through sieve.
  • STEP 11.Cook the gravy in a pan, along with spices and cream.
  • STEP 12.Add the koftas. Garnish with coriander.
  • STEP 13.Serve malai kofta with rice or roti or any flat bread.
