Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  • STEP 2.Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in flour until the mixture holds together. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  • STEP 3.Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush the falafel patties with olive oil and place them in the air fryer basket.
  • STEP 4.Cook the falafel in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Serve the air fryer falafel in pita bread with tahini sauce, fresh vegetables, and pickles. Enjoy!
