A meican recipe of banana smoothie with Cinnamon. Banana agua fresca also reminds me a lot of our delicious Puerto Rican Christmas drink Coquito because it's made with very similar ingredients with the exception of cream of coconut, coconut milk and of course the rum. This delicious concoction is also sold from the wonderful abundance of street vendors in Mexico. Agua de Plátano (Banana Agua Fresca) is a delicious refreshing drink made with a few simple ingredients and perfect anytime of the year especially on hot summer days.

Ingredients for Agua De Platano Recipe

  • 2 bananas ripe
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3 cup Water

Directions: Agua De Platano Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.To a bender add bananas,evaporated milk, condensed milk, cinnamon and vanilla.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Blend until smooth and set aside.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add 3 cups of water in the banana mixtures.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Pour over ice and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
