- 100 grams Chicken
- 1/4 cup Fresh curd
- 0.33 cup Fresh coriander leaves
- 0.33 tbsp Ginger garlic
- 0.67 tbsp Oil
- 0.67 tbsp Butter
- 0.33 tsp Chat masala
- 0.33 tsp Cumin powder
- 0.17 tsp Garam masala powder
- 0.33 tsp kasuri methi
- 0.33 tsp pepper powder
- 0.67 tbsp Lemon juice
- 0.33 Pieces Medium onion
- 0.67 Pieces Green chilli
- 0.33 Pieces Bay leaf
- 1 Pieces Cardamom
- 1 Pieces Cloves

- 1 tbsp cream / malai
- 0.17 cup water

How to Make Afghani Chicken Recipe
assemble ingredients for chicken marination, Marinade chicken with salt + lemon juice + pepper powder and marinade for 15 minutes.
assemble ingredients for gravy
make a smooth paste of cashews + almonds + onion + ginger + garlic + green chilli + coriander
in a mixing bowl add curd and whisk well + add all dry spices + smooth paste.
add the smooth paste into curd and mix well.
again marinade chicken with the 4 tbsp of curd mixture and marinade for 30 minutes.
in moderately heated pan add oil, fry the marinated chicken pieces till golden brown and keep aside.
in pan add butter, add all whole spices + 1 tsp ginger , allow to sizzle and then add the curd mixture and cook till oil is seen on surface
then add fried chicken pieces and cook till chicken is cooked and soft. Add water and cook for few minutes , gravy starts thickening, add cream / malai and cook further for 2-3 minutes.
keep in stand by mode for few minutes and dish is ready.
