This chicken dish is so easy to make. It is prepared from marinating the chicken pieces with blended spices, garlic, chilli and cashew paste and then pan fried with addition of cream. Granished with julienne, coriander sprig and lemon wedges.

Ingredients for Afghani Chicken Recipe

  • 750 gram chicken legs, halved
  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 10-15 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch ginger, peeled
  • bunch Small fresh coriander leaves
  • 10-12 Cashewnuts
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 Juice of lemon
  • As required Salt
  • 2-3 tablespoon Ghee
  • 3 tablespoon fresh cream
  • 1 piece small coal
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • As required Ginger juliennes for garnish
  • sprig Coriander for garnish
  • As required Lemon Wedges For Serving
  • As required Parantha for serving

Directions: Afghani Chicken Recipe

  • STEP 1.Blend onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, cashew nuts, chillies and ½ cup water, grind to a fine paste.
  • STEP 2.Take chicken items in an exceedingly bowl, add the ready paste, yogurt, kasuri methi powder, garam masala, juice, salt and blendwell. Put aside to marinade for an associate in nursing hour.
  • STEP 3.Heat clarified butter in an exceedingly slippy pan, sear the marinated chicken items for 4-5 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add the remaining marination and ½ cup water. Cowl and cook until done.
