Dum aloo is cooked over low heat in a traditional earthenware vessel (handi) that is usually sealed until the dish is ready to be consumed. Its name is a combination of the words aloo (potatoes) and dum (steam, or warm breath). The dish is typically garnished with strips of ginger and coriander leaves.

  • 4 Potatoes
  • 1 cup Cottage cheese 1 cup
  • 2-3 tablespoon Green coriander 2 to 3 tbsp
  • 2 tablespoon Chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup Hung curd
  • 1/2 inch Ginger baton
  • 2 Green chilli
  • 2 tablespoon Cashews
  • 1 tablespoon Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Green chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 2 Lemon slice
  • 2 Maggi Masala Ae Magic packets

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take four potatoes, peel and wash them.

  • STEP 2.When peeling them, scoop them employing a scooper to hollow them.

  • STEP 3.When hollowing them, dip them back to the water and wash them well.

  • STEP 4.When laundry them, place them during a manner that the surplus quantity of water moves out from them.
