  • 56.25 gram salted cod fish
  • 1/2 tins drained ackee
  • 0.13 pack bacon
  • 1/4 No.s chopped tomato
  • 1/4 No.s chopped onion
  • As required Oil
  • As required Black pepper

Directions: Ackee And Saltfish Recipe

  • STEP 1.1 - chop the fish and boil it in salt water.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 - to clean it thoroughly, change the water thrice.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 - chop the bacon and fry it until it turns crisp.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 - heat some oil in a pan and cook onions and tomatoes in it.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 - add bacon, ackee and fish in the pan.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 - season it with some black pepper and mix well.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 - cook it for a few minutes and your ackee saltfish is ready to be served.
