Ingredients for Achari layered paratha Recipe

  • 1.50 nos Cup wheat flour
  • As required ▢½ tsp ajwain
  • As required ▢½ tsp salt
  • As required ▢water (for kneading)
  • 1 nos ▢ tsp oil
  • As required achar massls
  • As required ghee (for layering)
  • As required ▢wheat flour (for dusting)
  • As required ▢oil (for roasting)

Directions: Achari Layered Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.firstly, in a large bowl take 3 cup wheat flour, ½ tsp ajwain and ½ tsp salt.
  • STEP 2.mix well making sure everything is well combined.
  • STEP 3.now add 1 cup water and start to knead the dough.
  • STEP 4.also, add 2 tsp oil and knead to a smooth and soft dough.
  • STEP 5.cover and rest for 20 minutes.
  • STEP 6.after resting the dough for 20 minutes, continue to knead.
  • STEP 7.pinch a small ball sized dough and roll.
  • STEP 8.dust wheat flour and roll to thin thickness.
  • STEP 9.spread achar ad spread achar ka masala
  • STEP 10.now fold zig-zag way and roll spiral.
  • STEP 11.sprinkle wheat flour and roll gently.
  • STEP 12.roll to slightly thick thickness sprinkling wheat flour if required.
  • STEP 13.now cook on hot tawa keeping the flame on medium.
  • STEP 14.roast both sides spreading oil on both sides.
  • STEP 15.cook until the paratha turns golden brown and layers separate.
  • STEP 16.finally, crush the achari paratha and enjoy chuntye or green chuntye and tea.
