A quick and healthy dish prepared from chana dal & wheat flour, aids weight loss. Also known as chawal ka pitha this recipe involves rice flour stuffed with some masala and deep fried with some dal, the recipe is very healthy and it can be served as a normal snack.

Ingredients for Aate Ke Fare Recipe

  • 1 Chana dal bowl
  • 1 No.s Green chilli
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 2 pinch Asafoetida powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • As required Salt

Directions: Aate Ke Fare Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Soak chana dal in water for overnight.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Grind soaked chana dal,green chilli,ginger & salt as per taste to make a paste.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add 2 tbsp water.

step 4

  • STEP 3.Make a dough of wheat flour.

step 5

  • STEP 4.Flatten the dough in poori size and stuff it with mixture.

step 6

  • STEP 5.Now fold it in gujia style.

  • STEP 1.Add water in a steamer & boil it.

step 9

  • STEP 1.Then put the fare in the steamer and cook it for 10-15 mins.

  • STEP 6.3.now cut the fare in pieces

step 11

  • STEP 1.Add 1 tbsp ghee in a pan & heat it.

step 12

  • STEP 1.Add mustard & cumin seeds.

step 13

  • STEP 1.Add asafoetida powder.

step 14

  • STEP 1.Now fry the fale for a minute.

step 15

  • STEP 1.Now add turmeric powder,red chilli powder & coriander powder.
