This is my version of my mother-in-law's recipe which is made using just three ingredients- raw green mangoes, sugar, and a few spices and tastes superb! It is a sweet and tangy summer cooler and helps in digestion and heat strokes in summers. Beat the heat with this refreshing drink!

Ingredients for AAM KA GUDAMBA Recipe

  • 125 Grams Raw mangoes
  • 1/2 Cups Mango pulp
  • 0.38 Cup Sugar
  • 0.38 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Tablespoon Roasted jeera powder
  • 0.38 Teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/4 Tablespoon Black salt

Directions: Aam Ka Gudamba Recipe

  • STEP 1.Rinse and boil the mangoes (along with the skin) in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles on a high flame.
  • STEP 2.Remove the pressure from heat and release the pressure naturally before opening the lid.
  • STEP 3.Transfer the mangoes to a bowl, squeeze the pulp and discard the skin.
  • STEP 4.Mash the pulp with hands and then use a whisk to form a smooth consistency. Add sugar, salt, black salt, jeera powder, and chilli powder to the mix.
  • STEP 5.Mix all the ingredients well.
  • STEP 6.It's ready to serve! Aam ka gudamba goes well with paranthas or as a side dish with a main course meal!
