A Bengali traditional dish and loved during summer. Aam dal will be liked by everyone in your family.Aam Daal is a quintessential Bengali daal (lentil stew) prepared throughout the mango season. It's mildly sour from using the green mango and utterly comforting when paired with steamed white rice. It is most commonly prepared using red lentil (masoor daal) but you can use your choice of daal too

Ingredients for Aam Dal Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Yellow Moong Dal
  • 3 cup Water
  • 1 Raw Mango
  • 2 tablespoon Mustard Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 2 Dry Red Chillies
  • 4-5 Green Chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • As required Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Lemon juice

Directions: Aam Dal Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash dal and take it in a very sterilizer. Add water and cook for two whistles.

  • STEP 2.Take away pressure instantly and whisk the dekaliter well to form it along.

  • STEP 3.Peel the raw mango and slice them into thick items.

  • STEP 4.Slit a pair of inexperienced chilies.

  • STEP 5.Take a kadai to pour mustard oil, heat the oil.

  • STEP 6.Now cut back the flame and add mustard seeds, dry red chilies, and inexperienced chilies, saute them.

  • STEP 7.Add in raw mango together with salt. Mix well.

  • STEP 8.Leave to cook on low heat until mangoes square measure soft.

  • STEP 9.Now add dekaliter, sugar, turmeric powder, and additional water if required.

  • STEP 10.Boil for five minutes. Take it off the warmth.

  • STEP 11.Add lemon juice.

step 12

  • STEP 12.Serve with steamed rice.
