Some people have made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the most entertaining world records related to food! Past famous world records in the domain of food include that of Wisconsin resident Donald Gorske for consuming more than 32,000 Big Macs in his lifetime. Here are some of the best world records created by foodies from late 2021 to mid 2022 that will engross you. From eating the most chicken nugget to creating the largest drinking class pyramid - these world records are works of true-blue food enthusiasts.

1. Most chicken nuggets eaten under a minute

If you think your love for chicken nuggets is unparalleled, what would you say about Leah Shutkever from the UK who ate 352 grams (similar to around 19 chicken nuggets from Mc Donald’s) within 60 seconds? Leah also holds a 2020 world record for the greatest number of chicken nuggets eaten under 3 minutes (775.1 grams) and the greatest number of tomatoes eaten under a minute (8). Interestingly, Leah became a professional competitive eater after her brother challenged her when she was in her early 20s, while the siblings were dining at a local restaurant.

2. Largest drinking glass pyramid

If you thought that the fanciest drinking glass pyramid was featured in the song Badtameez Dil in the movie Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, you stand corrected. The record for the largest glass pyramid has been broken in Dubai just on the verge of entering 2022. The record featured a total of 54,740 drinking glasses. The record was created by Atlantis, The Palm Limited, Moët and Chandon, Luuk Broos Events.

3. World’s largest vegan burger

If you like vegan burgers, then this world record is going to be one of your favourites! The UK’s artisan food producer Finnebrogue Artisan created the world record for making the largest vegan burger ever. All ingredients of the burger were vegan. The burger patty took almost 9 hours to be made. In a heartwarming gesture, the finished burger was given to charity to feed the homeless. The largest vegan burger ever created, weighed around 160 kgs.

4. Tallest stack of MnMs got taller

Ibrahim Sadeq from Iraq defeated the old-world record of the tallest stack of MnMs (4 MnMs) by creating a taller stack of 7 MnMs. He achieved this feat in under two minutes. Ibrahim got into the art of balancing things, six years ago, after he watched a video online of rocks being balanced atop each other.
