Every October, restaurant menus across India change with the calendar. Navratri brings special thalis, buffets and pop-ups to cities from Mumbai to Chandigarh, and each city does it differently. A “Navratri menu” doesn’t always mean vrat food, either. While the northern cities like Chandigarh and Delhi serve a vrat thali made without onion, garlic, and salt, beside the bhog Bengali restaurants and community pandals serve fish and non-vegetarian platters for Durga Puja. So, depending on your preference and fasting rituals, here is a list of the best restaurants picked by Slurrp offering vrat thalis and festive feasts for every foodie.
