Bollywood star and fitness icon Shilpa Shetty is often seen sharing wellness mantras and beauty secrets with her fans and enthusiasts. Along with fashion, her diet and fitness regime have often made netizens go gaga over the 46-year-old actress. She seems to love indulging in plenty of fruits and veggies and of course yoga.
And that’s not all, Shilpa also loves to grow and nurture some fruits at home. Recently, she took to her Instagram handle and expressed her excitement to savour a fruit from her own garden. In the video clip, she was seen plucking carambola or kamrakh from a tree in the garden. No kamrakh season in my house goes without having the kamrakh pickle. Seasoned simply with salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder, the fruit is chopped into pieces, dried in the sun and then pickled to perfection.
