Saucy, Crispy And Juicy Chicken Pizza

Pizza is one of the recipes which can be customised easily as per your taste. It is a savoury dish which is prepared in a round shape mostly. Pizza dough can be prepared with wheat as well as flour now. The flat base prepared with dough is topped with tangy sauce as well as vegetables such as mushroom, corn, capsicum, onion, olives and many more. You can also top it with chicken pieces or sausages as per your taste. It is a delicious party snack which is loaded with cheese.

 Pizza originated in Italy and is served wildly all over the world. The dish is mostly served at every party or occasion in India. It is one of the favourite snacks of kids and is also liked by adults. Pizza can also be prepared in different sizes and shapes as per your preference. A small pizza is sometimes called a pizzetta and the person who makes pizza is called a pizzaiolo in foreign countries

To Make Pizza Base

1. 500gms flour 

2. 8-9 gms of salt 

3. 45-45 ml of Olive Oil 

4. 445 ml of water 

5. 18-20 gms of Instant Yeast 

To Make Marinara Sauce 

1. Olive Oil 

2. Whole chopped Onion 

3. Minced Garlic 

4. Few Basil Leaves 

5. A can of Tomato Puree 

6. Salt 

7. Crush Black Pepper 

8. Dry Powdered Oregano 


1. Firstly, take a bowl and add flour, salt, olive oil, water and instant yeast. Mix them well to form a firm dough. Ensure to knead it for approximately 10 minutes to form a smooth dough

2. Once the dough comes together, wrap it and refrigerate it in a refrigerator for half-hour

3. Next, take a pan and add olive oil, onions, minced garlic, basil leaves and tomato puree and mash all the ingredients. Put salt, black pepper, oregano and a little amount of water. Heat it and let it come to a gradual boil 

4. Add a few basil leaves and leave it to boil for another minute 

5. Next, take the dough and split it in a half, take one piece of the dough and form a circular shape with it. Now, apply some oil to the sides of the pizza cooking utensil and roll the dough over it. Cut the excess and form a thin crust

6. Fill the layer with marinara sauce as well as a combination of cheddar and mozzarella cheese 

7. Now, take the second piece of dough as well and roll it to form a circular shape

8. Cover the base of the pizza with the second piece and close the exterior of the base with it

9. Next, add the sauce over the pizza and put it in the oven at 200C for approximately 20 -25 minutes

10. Finally, top it off with cheese and keep the pizza in the oven for approximately 10 minutes. Once done, cool it down for 10 minutes 

11. Cut the Pizza slices and it is ready to be served hot
