A model cum actor who has featured in various advertisements and Hindi films till date, Saqib Saleem is a hidden gem of Bollywood. The actor started his career as a model and went on to do several Hindi films like Mere Dad Ki Maruti and Race 3. He was last seen in Kapil Dev’s biopic, ’83 along with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. While we know that Saqib Saleem is a hardcore foodie, we even have proof that it runs in the genes. His father is a restaurateur and owns a chain of restaurants across Delhi. Well-known for their Mughlai food, the ’83 actor revealed in an interview that he worked with his father at the restaurant before venturing into films.
A Delhi-based actor with a family history of food cannot stay away from the kitchen for long. During the lockdown, the actor was seen cooking everything thing from banana bread to chocolate cake in the oven. While we were amazed at his cooking skills, this time he’s playing a little trivia with us. He is currently in New York and was dining at a restaurant. He clicked a picture of the menu and posted it on his Instagram stories, asking his followers to guess what he was going to order. An hour later we see a picture of a bright-coloured dish on his plate and we are drooling.
We tried hard to skim through the menu and find out what’s on his plate. The best guess we could make was a Classic Ham Benedict. Whether we are right or not, we aren’t sure so here’s a glimpse of what he was having. He captioned the plate filled with ham and melted hollandaise poured over the toast with fresh greens as “Delicious”. Topped with chives and pepper, it looks lip-smacking. Here’s what we are talking about.
Wrap up a quick breakfast when you’re in a hurry. Scramble the eggs and mix them with ham. Add in some milk and spices and stuff it in a tortilla. This is a delicious and yummy recipe to try in the morning. It is filling and wholesome and gives your meaty tooth a taste of ham. Slice the ham into thin strips and combine it with eggs, what a creamy and heart-warming mix will be created.
