Sabudana Chutney Bombs To Take Your Fasting To The Next Level

Sabudana is an inseparable part of Satvik Eating and we know it. Many Hindus have certain restrictions when it comes to having food during Navratri fasts. They keep themselves restrained from having garlic-onion, wheat, and regular salt. It has been a few days since you have eaten something amazing, isn’t it? Let's get over eating that regular and boring food every day and try something different. And this has been made easier by our beloved chef Pankaj Bhadouria. It is not the first that she has shared something great with her. The chef took to Instagram and captioned the post “A Chatpati Chutney filled Sabudana Cutlets that can be the perfect snack for Navratri! P.S. Those not fasting would be the first to gobble these up!”. Aren’t you drooling? So, let us not waste any more time and see how to make this amazingly delicious snack at home. Follow the steps below. 

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups sabudana 
  • 2 boiled potatoes 
  • 1 tsp black pepper 
  • 3 chopped green chilies 
  • 1 ginger chopped 
  • Handful of chopped coriander 
  • Handful of mint leaves 
  • 2 tsp lemon juice 
  • Rock salt as per taste

Method 

  • Take two cups of sabudana and soak them for 2 hours 
  • Drain them and add them to a bowl. 
  • Add mashed boiled potatoes, rock salt, and pepper to the bowl. 
  • Add chopped green chilies and ginger to the bowl. 
  • Also, add chopped coriander. 
  • Meanwhile, take a mixer jar and add chopped coriander into it. 
  • Add mint leaves, chopped green chilies, chopped ginger, lemon juice, and rock salt. 
  • Grind it into a paste and your chutney is ready. 
  • Now, take sabudana and potato mix and knead it well. 
  • Make them into small balls and make a hole in them. 
  • Add half a spoon of chutney into them and cover them again. 
  • Fry the balls in the oil. 

And, it is ready!!
