- Finding the crumb tray and properly cleaning it with a solution of dish soap and water, taking care to rinse it afterwards, are the first steps. After finishing, place the tray outside to dry.
- The interior of your pop-up toaster needs to be cleaned next, which might be challenging due to the appliance's electrical components.
- To make a cleaning solution that will thoroughly clean that toaster, combine white vinegar and water. Once combined, take a toothbrush, dunk it in the vinegar-and-water mixture, and use it to clean the toaster's heating coils. After cleaning is complete, wipe down the toaster's bigger interior components with the lint-free cloth.
- Last but not least, give the outside of your toaster a thorough cleaning using a microfiber cloth and a standard multipurpose cleanser. Additionally, try to keep heating elements dry. Instead of wiping them with a damp towel, try using a dry one or a microfiber cloth.
