Cottage cheese or paneer is the most loved ingredient among Indian vegetarians. It is super healthy and tasty. Paneer is high in protein too, which is why you can include it in your daily diet. But, do you love paneer but find it challenging to cook those sumptuous recipes on regular days when you are working? Don't worry, here are two simple paneer recipes that you can make in a jiffy! They are easy and super delicious to make. 

Paneer Bhurji

Ingredients: 

  • 200-gram paneer 
  • 1tbsp butter and any oil 
  • ½ tbsp turmeric powder, cumin seeds, cumin powder and dry ginger powder. 
  • 1chopped ginger, onion and tomato 
  • 1 tsp coriander and red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste 
  • 2 chopped green chillies 
  • Fresh coriander leaves 
  • ½ lime 

How To Make Paneer Bhurji Easily At Home? 

  1. Crumble the cottage cheese and keep it aside.  
  2. Add butter, cumin seeds and oil in a kadhai. Now add ginger, chopped onion, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, and coriander powder as per your taste.  
  3. Add some water after cooking well. Now add chopped green chillies, dry ginger powder and tomato.  
  4. Mix them well while adding crumbled cottage cheese. Squeeze some lime juice and top with coriander leaves before serving.

Paneer Masala

Ingredients: 

  • 100 gram cubed cottage cheese 
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric and red chilli powder 
  • 1 chopped onion and green capsicum 
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder 
  • 1 cup tomato puree 
  • 1/3 cup water 
  • 2 tablespoons oil 
  • Salt as per taste

How To Prepare Paneer Masala?

  1. Add chopped onions in a kadhai and fry until they become light brown. 
  2.  Cook for a few minutes after adding the tomato puree.  
  3. Add coriander, red chilli, turmeric powder and mix it well.  
  4. Next, add salt, chopped capsicum and sauté for two to three minutes.  
  5. Add one-third cup water and bring it to evaporate.  
  6. Finally, add cottage cheese cubes and cook until the gravy turns thicker. Serve with chapatis while taking it off the flame.
