Banana pudding, also known as banana cream pudding, is a pudding that is often made of layers of sweet custard with vanilla flavour, vanilla wafers and fresh banana slices that are served in a dish with whipped cream or meringue on top. Twinkies are a component of some recipes.

Although it is frequently linked to Southern American cuisine, it can be found throughout the world. Moreover, it is layered and contains custard, fruit, sponge cake, and whipped cream, much like an English trifle. Banana pudding can be made by baking it or by chilling it; the latter method is more common, especially among home cooks. Genuine pudding has also been replaced in several recipes with vanilla or banana custard. Some recipes avoid using wafers. To make this dessert, bananas, custard, and wafers are usually layered into a bowl, which is then topped with whipped cream or meringue. The wafers will gradually absorb the custard, and as the layers meld together, the tastes will mix. This dish is a heaven for all banana lovers because it is delicious yet nutritious. Bananas are packed with nutrients. They include a variety of healthy plant substances, including fibre, potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin B6. These nutrients may be good for your heart and digestive system. Banana pudding is an easy-to-make dessert but what if you don't have an oven? Worry not, because you can make it without baking. This pudding can be made by putting all the ingredients together and chilling them.

Here's how you can make no bake banana pudding at home-

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 5.1-ounce box instant vanilla pudding
  • 12 ounce can sweetened condensed milk

  • Fill the bottom of a baking dish with vanilla wafers. Then put the banana slices on top. Place a uniform layer of custard mixture on top of the banana slices. Then, crumble the remaining vanilla wafers, sprinkle them over the custard, cover it, and chill it overnight in the refrigerator.
