I find myself in a constant hurry, and, therefore, I want my household chores to be done quickly. I have tried various modern techniques - from laundry to dishwashing. Just like using a washing machine for clothes, I use a dishwasher to clean utensils. It saves a lot of time, but there are some disadvantages too - it doesn't wash all my dishes. Today, I will tell you what you should not use the dishwasher for.

  1. Copper vessels: Copper utensils should be kept away from chemicals, as they can spoil their lustre. Do not wash copper utensils in the dishwasher in such a situation. To wash copper utensils, you can clean them by mixing lemon peel powder and salt. Then, when the water dries up, put mustard oil on it.
  2. Wooden utensils: Many such utensils in the kitchen are wood. Please don't wash them in the dishwasher, as this can scratch and damage them. Not only this, keeping these utensils in water for a long time spoils them. So leave it for 20 minutes in hot water and then clean it using baking soda.
  3. Crystal dishes: Crystal utensils are exceptionally delicate, and they tend to break, so clean them using vinegar. In addition, if you wash it in the dishwasher, it may lose its shine. Moreover, its glass contains lead oxide that can spoil if mixed with dishwasher liquid.
  4. Non-stick utensils: The modern kitchen is incomplete without non-stick utensils, and many people use chemical-rich things to wash them. But non-stick utensils should also not be washed in the dishwasher, as this can spoil its finishing and make it look flaky.
  5. Sharp knives:  Don't mistake washing knives in the dishwasher, as it can damage their sharp edges. Not only this, but you should also avoid washing vegetable cutter, knife, grater etc., in the dishwasher.
