Til is commonly consumed during the winter months in India for its immense health benefits. They make our bones stronger by adding calcium and manganese to our diet and providing us with essential vitamins and minerals. During Lohri and Makar Sankranti too, til is widely used for making desserts like chikki and ladoos.

Chikki is a sticky brittle that is made using a variety of nuts, seeds, and jaggery. From peanuts to sesame seeds, chikki is bound together with jaggery.
