Kacche Kele Ki Sabji Can Be A Perfect Addition To Your Everyday Meals

Raw banana or kacche kele ki sabzi is mainly enjoyed in the southern states of our country and serves as a perfect go-to meal to pack in our lunch boxes. Moreover, there’s no denying that bananas are usually a part of everyone’s daily diet. Whether kids or adults, everyone is advised to include bananas because it acts as a powerhouse of nutrients. Especially when it comes to eating fruits or vegetables, one should not cut any corners. Keeping this in our mind, we have come up with yet another recipe using raw bananas. Kaache kele ki sabzi is prepared smoothly in coconut oil, using the authentic flavors of freshly grated coconut, kadi patta and turmeric powder

  1. 4 raw bananas
  2. Half cup grated coconut
  3. 2-3 tablespoon Turmeric powder
  4. Kadi patta leaves
  5. 2-4 green chillies
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Mustard seeds
  8. 2-4 tablespoon Coconut oil


  1. Please take all the raw bananas and then together boil them in a pressure cooker. Turn off the cooker right after one whistle. 
  2. Now take a pan and heat it with coconut oil. Add the pan mustard seeds, kadi patta, finely chopped green chillies, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir and saute the mixture for a while. 
  3. After this, cut small slices of raw bananas to add to the pan. After adding, mix well with the masalas and let it cook for 5-10 minutes. 
  4. In the end, add freshly grated coconut into the pan. Again mix and cook for just a bit longer. 
  5. Your Raw banana Sabzi is ready! Serve warm and enjoy it with rice or roti. 

Takeaway tip- We have made this dish without peeling off the skin of the bananas. If you wish to enjoy eating without the skin, peel them off before adding them to the pan.
