This cocktail, an ‘Incredible Hulk’, is prepared by combining equal parts of a fruit liquor known as ‘hypnotic and another liquor that is cognac. This sensational green colour cocktail is appealing for every taste as it has a fruity flavour and subtle sweet taste with a tinge of sourness. Besides the name, there’s more about this cocktail to entice you at every second. A restaurant bartender invented the cocktail in New York at the Hpnotiq launch event. During that event, the restaurant staff came to notice that the drink had already connected with women but saw that few men drank the cocktail. The restaurant staff analyzed and found that the men considered the fruity flavours and the blue colour of the drink to be effeminate. So the drink was finally given a makeover by mixing it with Hennesey, which helped dilute the fruits' flavours and resulted in becoming a green coloured beverage. This marked the beginning of fame and popularity, which led to this cocktail becoming a great hit of its time.
Ingredients-
- 30ml hpnotiq
- 30ml cognac
- Lemon wedge ( for garnishing)
Method-
- Take a coupe glass filled with many ice cubes and start pouring both the liquors in equal parts.
- Stir and mix well.
- Lastly, garnish with a lemon wheel to give it a charming look.
