Ingredients

For The Chicken Part

  • Chicken Broiler 1 kg or cut 8 pieces
  • Grated onions 2 teaspoon
  • Ginger Paste 2 teaspoon
  • Garlic Paste ½ teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
  • Turmeric ½ teaspoon 
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • Tomato 1 cup grated
  • ½ cup coriander leaves chopped
  • ½ cup hung curd
  • ¾ onion browned slices 

For The Rice part

  • 500 grams of soaked and washed Basmati Rice
  • 4 tablespoons Ghee/Oil
  • 2 cardamoms
  • 2 cloves
  • 4 peppercorns
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon  
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 green cardamoms
  • ½ warm milk with saffron

Recipe For Chicken Biryani

Follow the process to prepare the best microwave Chicken Biryani.

  • Take 2 tablespoons of ghee or oil and the onion slices, cumin, and ginger-garlic pastes in a microwave-safe utensil. 
  • Heat the mixture uncovered at a high temperature for four minutes. 
  • Then, after the onions get brown, add garam masala, coriander and chilli powder, turmeric, and salt, in the required proportions and mix it well. You have to cook it covered for 15 minutes with stirring. 
  • For a well-cooked chicken mixture, add chicken pieces, ½ cup hung curd, garlic, black pepper, and grated tomato. Then cook it at high heat for 5 minutes, cover only ¾th of the utensil, and stir it for 15 minutes. 
  • After the chicken is cooked, add chopped coriander leaves and mix everything well.
  • Take another microwave bowl and 2 tablespoons of ghee/oil, cinnamon, cardamoms, and peppercorns and cook it for 7 minutes at high heat. Then again, cook the mixture for 7 minutes on high heat in a ¾ covered bowl. 
  • Add the soaked rice, water, and salt; cook the combination for 7 minutes covering the vessel.
  • Then, heat it on high flame by covering 70% of the bowl and stir it well again.
