Murabba can be stored at home for months and can be enjoyed even during the off-season. Making bael murabba is quite easy and hassle-free. One needs to just take raw wood apples, dip them in sugar syrup and add the cardamom powder for extra touch of flavour. According to Ayurveda, bael murabba is effective in curing digestive ailments, is great for our heart, and keeps our skin glowing and youthful. Not only this but it’s also loaded with several vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients-

  1. 2-3 big raw bael
  2. 2 cups sugar
  3. Pinch of elaichi powder
  4. 3-4 cups of water

Method for preparation-

  1. Take the wood apples and start peeling off their skins and cut them into small pieces.
  2. Now take a saucepan and add water. For making sugar syrup, add sugar into the saucepan and let it boil on high flame until it dissolves properly.
  3. When the sugar syrup is ready, add the pieces of wood apple.
  4. Keep heating until the wood apples become soft.
  5. Then add a pinch of elaichi powder and keep stirring for a while.
  6. Filter everything and transfer it into a container.
  7. Bael murabba is ready!
