Flip Your ‘Omelette Game’ With This Spicy Veggie Omelette

Today, we bring you the recipe of a spicy veggie omelette, which can be made in a jiffy with a handful of ingredients. This recipe is super delicious and can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. We have further taken up a notch by adding cheese into it, which makes it all things irresistible. You can play with ingredients of your choice and can add a few more spices and herbs to make it more interesting. Here’s the recipe for a spicy veggie omelette.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 small tomato, finely chopped
  • ½ nos. green capsicum, finely chopped
  • ½ cup coriander leaves, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ tbsp garam masala
  • Pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
  • Cheese as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Oil or butter or ghee as required

Preparations:

1. Break the eggs in a large bowl and whisk it well.

2. Then add milk, onion, tomato, green capsicum, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt and black pepper. Whisk all the ingredients well for 1-2 mins.

3. Add cheese and coriander leaves. Whisk it again until the cheese melts.

4. In a skillet add oil and heat it over medium flame. When the oil is hot enough, lower the flame.

5. Pour the prepared egg mixture into the pan and swirl it to spread the eggs evenly.

6. Cook until the lower side is set. It will take 2-3 minutes approx.

7. Flip the omelette using a flat spatula and cook the other side as well.

Your sumptuous spicy veggie omelette is ready to be gorged upon.
