Tandoori Chicken Recipe

In the recipe chicken is marinated in a pool of spices including ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, coriander powder, black pepper and cream along with yogurt for about 2-3 hours. You simply need to arrange the marinated chicken pieces in a saucer, cover and cook at high-mode! Serve with a side of lemon wedges and onion rings.

Here’s the full recipe of tandoori chicken:

Ingredients

1/2 kg chicken (cut into pieces and pierced)

1 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp ginger paste

1/2 cup curd

1 tsp garam masala

1/2 tbsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper powder

1 ½ tsp coriander powder

Cream  

Oil (to brush the chicken)

Method

1. Marinate the chicken in a mix of garlic, ginger, yogurt, salt, garam masala, black pepper, coriander powder and cream for about 2-3 hour.

2. Arrange the chicken over a sauce and place it in a dish.

3. Cover and cook in a microwave at HI for 5 minutes, turn once.

4. Cover and cook on HI for another 3 minutes. Uncover and cook for 2 minutes more.

5. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving with onion rings and lemon wedges on the side.
