We all want to eat the maximum food items in a buffet. So, here are some Do’s and Don'ts of eating in a buffet:

Do’s

Do workout before the buffet: Workout depletes your glycogen and stimulates your appetite. Doing light exercises before going to the buffet will make you more hungry.

Take a look at all the options: Take a walk and look at all the foods before choosing. That way you can start with what interests you most. Start from there and navigate to the items you want to taste.

Eat in small portions: Take a small amount of whatever you want to eat. Try a bit of everything; if you want more, you can always come back and refill. You can consider going on a small walk in between the starters to speed up the digestion.

Don'ts

Never starve yourself before going to a buffet: If you plan to eat a lot at the buffet, you need to hydrate yourself, so drink water first. Water is also essential for easy and good digestion. Also, for those who think starving will help, it can work opposite for them. When you don’t eat for a while, your stomach size shrinks, so you won’t be able to eat as much as you want.

Don’t eat fast: Try to eat slowly. To enjoy the buffet, do not try to finish everything on your plate, enjoy bites of every dish.

Take the time to enjoy your food, the pleasure of your company, and the environment around you. Next time when you go to a buffet, keep these points in mind and enjoy eating as many items as you want.
