Monsoon is knocking, and of all the fruits, custard apple or sweet-sop is widely loved by all. This sweet, white and creamy fruit tastes like custard, and numerous dishes can be made with them. Sugar Apple Kalakand Recipe 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup powdered cardamom and pistachios 
  • 1-2 tsp sugar apple pulp, sugar and lemon juice 
  • 6 cup milk 
  • 1/2 cup ghee 
  • 5 slivered almonds 

Directions:

  1. Firstly, divide the six cups of milk into two vessels. Now, heat one container of milk and reduce it to half. 
  2. Furthermore, now bring another milk container to boil. Simmer it, add drops of lemon juice, and pour the milk into a piece of cotton fabric. 
  3. When milk is reduced to half, add paneer to another container. Then, as per your taste, add sugar and cook for few minutes. 
  4. Add some cardamom powder in sugar apple and stir thoroughly. Put ghee on a base and drain the mix. 
  5. Garnish with silver foil, pistachio and let it fix for some time. Then, please give it a final touch by cutting it into small pieces before serving. 

Cherimoya Phirni Recipe 

Ingredients:

  • 1-litre milk (full-fat) 
  • 4-6 tbsp rice flour and sugar 
  • 1 cup custard apple/cherimoya pulp 

Directions:

  1. Take one cup of chilled milk and use rice flour to make a smooth paste. Now mix the smooth paste with leftover milk and boil on medium flame while adding sugar. 
  2. Boil for about 7 to 8 minutes till the rice flour is cooked and the mixture becomes thick correctly. 
  3. Cool it, add cherimoya pulp and mix it well. 
  4. Chill for a few hours, and your cherimoya phirni is ready to be relished. 

Sweet-Sop Smoothie Recipe 

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 cup custard apple/sweet-sop pulp 
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder 
  • 3/4 cup curd (low-fat) 

Directions:

  1. Firstly, remove the seeds from the sweet-sop and take the sweet-sop pulp without seeds. 
  2. Next, add the low-fat curd and custard apple pulp in a mixer. Finally, as per your taste, add some cinnamon powder. 
  3. Mix this blend till it gets more creamlike. Then, your sweet-sop smoothie is ready to be served chilled.
