No matter how hard the times are, there is one thing that can make us happy. It is our sweetest and fondest childhood memories. And most of our childhood memories are associated with food. While some remember their childhood with ‘maa ke hath ka khana’, some relish their memories with cookies, candies, desserts, and whatnot.
Recently, Chef Garima Arora along with Chef Vikas Khanna and Chef Ranveer Brar joined Amitabh Bachchan on KBC for the promotion of the new MasterChef Season. The trio is going to judge MasterChef’s 7th season which is all set to air on 2nd Jan 2023 on Sony Liv and Sony Tv. Not only the chefs shared some amazing food facts with Amitabh Bachchan and the audience but also shared their funny and inspiring experiences in the KBC episode that aired on Monday.
Responding to one of the questions asked, Chef Garima Arora said that her fondest childhood memory is associated with an upside-down banana cake baked by her dad. The chef said that her father is fond of cooking and used to cook for her. When she was about 5 or 6 years old, her father used to bake an upside-down banana cake.
She said that whenever she used to see the cake, she always wondered how the bananas got into it. And when she asked her father about this mystery, her father told her that it is 'magic'. Chef Garima said that this magic word stuck in her mind and even now when diners come to her restaurant, she tries to serve the same magic to them. Later in the episode, Chef Garima's father also joined the chefs and Amitabh Bachchan and all enjoyed a delicious banana cake.
