Summers months are difficult to get by and we all would agree to that. And the most usual technique to stay cool in this blazing weather is to drink liquids. People have tried everything from coconut water to fresh fruit juices to stay hydrated. Many have started adding flowers and herbs in their mocktails and cocktails, in addition to the monotonous shikanjis and lemonades.

The whole drink is given a unique twist by these new thoughts and innovations. We're going to talk about lavender today since it's a plant that can help with anxiety, tension, and even headaches. Besides its health benefits, this plant's lavender colour is stunning.  The pleasant perfume of these lovely lavender blossoms instantly helps us feel better. What better way to give our mocktails an aromatic twist than to incorporate them?

Here are the ways you can incorporate Lavender in your beverages

     Lavender Lemonade

By adding lavender to your boring nimbu paani, you may give it a gorgeous twist. Believe me when I say that it may sound ordinary, but it tastes incredible. You'd never want to drink plain lemonade again.

Ingredients needed-

    2 tsp lavender buds

2 teaspoons sweetener of your choice

    1 tbsp lavender syrup

    2 tbsp lemon juice

    2 cups sparkling water

    250 ml boiling water.

 Method-

Add lavender, sweetener and water to a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Turn down the heat and let it simmer until the colour from the lavender buds has faded out. Turn off the stove and let it cool down. Strain and pour it into a glass full of ice, add lavender syrup and lemon juice to it. Mix and top it off with sparkling water. Serve chilled.
