The air at Zomaland New Delhi 2025 was charged with energy with some of the best restaurants and food entrepreneurs of the city putting up vibrant stalls packed with their signature delicacies. But the biggest and most popular attraction was the Table For Everyone event by Zomaland New Delhi 2025’s sponsors, Black & White Ginger Ale. For those who may not be aware, Table For Everyone is a signature event format that Black & White Ginger Ale by Diageo introduced across India to revolutionise the idea of sharing food, beverages and fun games to encourage dialogues between strangers.
Certainly, a perfect fit for big food events in India, wouldn’t you say? True to its format, the Table For Everyone event at Zomaland had a few highlights: Long tables with community-style seating to improve interactions, Black & White Ginger Ale’s unique Cards For Sharing game to spark conversations, a quick masterclass on cocktail and mocktail making, and of course, a specially curated bar menu by Chef Parth Bajaj.
If you are a cocktail enthusiast, then you would know that picking out the best bar nibbles can make or break your drinking experience. Keeping this in mind, a carefully selected and prepared number of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were created by Chef Parth Bajaj. Chef Parth Bajaj, a culinary maverick with an engineer-to-chef journey, was able to create a vibrant, versatile, and indulgent menu. Known for his innovative take on classics, Chef Bajaj crafted a selection of that struck a balance between international flavours that Indian diners have come to love over the years.
“I feel that the concept of Table For Everyone comes from the sheer love of food, but isn’t limited to food,” the chef shared. “The idea is mainly to inculcate a sense of sharing the said food and beverages with your friends and loved ones! If it’s for someone who’s riding solo, the concept of table for everyone can also spark new conversations or building new friendships as well! I feel it just brings people together!”
A Unique Take on Community Dining
The Table For Everyone started off with a quick cocktail-making session by Diageo’s Brand Ambassador and mixologist Aditya Anand. Using a free pouring technique, Aditya Anand showed all the guests how to create a flavourful mocktail or cocktail with Black & White Ginger Ale. Of course, the cocktail enthusiasts among the guests got to taste the deep, smoky flavours of Black & White whisky paired with the citrusy notes of lemon, oranges and grapefruit in the form of a vibrant cocktail. A quick Q&A session ensured that everyone at the event was enjoying the art of mixology while also starting off with a round of Cards For Sharing.
And next came up this incredible menu created by Chef Parth Bajaj, a carefully designed selection of seven appetisers that embraced fusion cooking while remaining grounded in comforting flavours. The spread included:
1. Paneer Tikka Bruschetta
2. Chicken Pineapple Meatballs
3. Lemon Butter Prawns
4. Korean Chicken Wings
5. Vietnamese Spring Rolls with Peanut Dipping Sauce
6. Truffled Mushroom Toasts
7. Roasted Tomato Basil Hummus with Freshly Baked Pita
The dishes were served in buddy platters, an approach that encouraged guests to share and sample a variety of flavours in one sitting. This format not only catered to diverse preferences but also sparked conversations, perfectly aligning with the event’s overarching theme of community and shared joy.
“I absolutely believe that this menu is meant for sharing, as we have our buddy platters which 2-3 people can easily share and enjoy various dishes altogether,” Chef Parth shared. “This way, everyone gets to eat what they like whilst still getting to try something new. Honestly, nobody should compromise on their food preferences. This way people can also share food with loved ones but also devour the foods they love.”
Beyond Just a Food Experience – The Community Experience
While many food activations at Zomaland and other food events in India focus solely on the culinary aspect, Black & White took it a step further with an interactive community sharing session—which is quite refreshing to witness and experience first hand. This unique experience combined music, food, and festivity, transforming the drinking and dining process into a shared community spectacle of its own. Chef Parth Bajaj expressed his excitement about the concept, stating, “We aren’t doing masterclasses today, but we are doing this unique kitchen rave where music, fun, and food go hand in hand!”
This shift from a traditional food demonstration to an interactive, high-energy experience was a testament to the evolving nature of culinary storytelling in India—one that resonates deeply with a generation that thrives on experiential dining.
For an activation of this scale, however, challenges are inevitable. According to Chef Bajaj, the key hurdles in curating a menu like this can be linked to logistics, audience preferences, and cost constraints. “But thankfully, Black & White has been a pleasure to work with so far and I haven’t had many obstacles yet,” he explained. “Creating this menu has been fun and I can’t wait for everyone to try the dishes out! Can’t wait to do this again!”
Zomaland New Delhi 2025 witnessed an array of food stalls, performances, celebrity showcases, and interactive experiences, but Black & White’s Table For Everyone truly stood out. Not only did it deliver on taste in terms of the food and cocktail menu, but it also created an emotional impact—reinforcing the idea that food is best enjoyed when shared. As food festivals continue to conceptually evolve in India, experiences like these pave the way for what the future of immersive dining could look like. And if this event was any indication, that future is bold, flavourful, and certainly meant to be shared with everyone.
