Banoffee pie is a sinful dessert, loaded with bananas and toffee and basically everything nice. The word banoffee in fact is the combination of two words - bananas and toffee. The pie is troll magical with three layers of wonderful banana, whipped cream and caramel decadence. We absolutely recommend making this if the banana desserts call to you. All you need to prepare this pie is a handful of ingredients and half an hour of your time.

This recipe makes for eight bug servings, so it is great for parties and luncheons. Here is that recipe:

Ingredients

3 cups of chocolate biscuits

1/2 cup of salted butter

1 cup of caramel (recommended dulce de leche)

2 large bananas sliced

1 cup of cream

1/8 cup of sugar

1 tsp of vanilla

A bar of your favourite chocolate

Instructions

Begin by preparing an 8-inch tart pan with a removable base.

Grease it with butter and a layer of flour, to prevent sticking.

To a food processor, add the biscuits and process till fine crumbs but quite a powder consistency.

You also add them to a zip lock bag and beat them rolling pin to process it.

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the butter and melt it in the microwave in thirty-second intervals.

Mix the biscuit crumbs with the butter till well combined.

Lay the biscuit mix on the base and sides of the pie dish.

To set the pie base, refrigerate for 5 hours at least.

Bring out the base and pour on it the caramel till a thin layer forms.

On top, add the banana coins. Refrigerate for half an hour.

While that is cooling, whip the cream to stiff peaks and fold in the sugar and vanilla to make fresh whipped cream.

On the coins layer the whipped cream.

Finally, complete by shaving on some chocolate curls to cover the whipped cream.

The dish is ready to serve!
