Now a lot of people would think that one needs a lot of ingredients to make ice cream at home. This is a misconception that will be broken today. One can make a lot of delectable and sophisticated ice creams at home by simply using some fresh fruits.

 * Mangoes

Mango is often regarded as the king of the fruits. During summer, one can find the juiciest and the most finger-licking varieties of mangoes in India. This tropical fruit can be used to make sweet and indulgent treats by simply pairing the pulp of the mango with some high-fat milk and a little bit of cream for that extra thickness. The mixture must be mixed in a food processor and then put inside moulds to be frozen in the refrigerator. The ice cream is going to be ready within 2 to 3 hours of refrigeration.

* Watermelon

Watermelon is a very hydrating and refreshing fruit that doctors even suggest having in summer. It helps in restoring the lost water from the body due to excessive sweating. A great way to eat watermelon in summer is to make a delicious ice cream out of it. One has to simply take the watermelon pulp and blend it in a blender with a little bit of thick cream and some water to make a nice paste. This paste has to be stored in the refrigerator until it has an ice cream-like consistency, and then it is served with some fresh mint leaves.

* Strawberries

Strawberries are one of the best fruits to make ice creams with because they're not excessively sweet and give a very enticing touch to the ice cream. They also have a very vibrant colour and refreshing taste that makes the ice cream taste even better. One has to simply remove the leaves from the top of the strawberry and cut them into small pieces. The pieces have to be put inside the food blender and mixed with some full-fat cream and a little bit of milk. One can also add some honey for that extra sweetness. The mixture has to be blended properly until a thick and creamy paste is formed. This can be stored in the refrigerator till it properly freezes.

* Banana

Making an ice cream from bananas is one of the easiest ways to make a delicious dessert at home. Bananas already have a very creamy and easy-to-blend texture. One doesn't have to add any full-fat cream to make it extra creamy. The ice cream can be simply made by adding some almond milk, which makes it a dairy-free ice cream. In the ice cream mixture, one can add some chopped nuts for that extra crunch and texture. This blended mixture should be stored in the refrigerator so that it gets properly set.

* Blueberries

Blueberries are packed with different types of vitamins and antioxidants, which makes them a very healthy choice for making ice cream. The best part is the vibrant colour palette that blueberries add to the ice cream, which makes them look so attractive. To make a blueberry ice cream, one has to simply take some full-fat cream, a little bit of milk and lots of blueberries and blend them in a food processor. If one wants to make it extra sweet, then they can add some dates. This ice cream mixture has to be stored in the refrigerator. It can be eaten on its own or also served with waffles, pancakes, and even added in shakes.

* Cherries

Cherries are very fresh in taste and also a little bit sour. Making ice cream from cherries is the perfect choice for people who do not like extremely sweet ice creams and want hints of different flavours in their ice creams. To make this ice cream, one has to add full-fat cream, milk, and a lot of cherries to a food processor and blend everything. For sweetness, one can add some honey. This is all that has to be done, and the mixture has to be simply stored in the refrigerator.
